Mistika used for stunning DI & Stereo 3D in The Adventures of Tintin, at Award-winning Park Road

SGO’s Mistika technology was used for all the DI and Stereo 3D post production by industry leading post production company Park Road Post in The Adventures of Tintin. All digital intermediate work in both 2D and Stereo 3D was achieved using Mistika, which included colour grading, conforming, convergence adjustments and hand-offs between shots. Directed by Academy Award® winner Steven Spielberg, the film is based on the series of books “The Adventures of Tintin” by Hergé and is also produced by Steven Spielberg, Peter Jackson and Kathleen Kennedy, with Ken Kamins, Hergé Estate’s Nick Rodwell and Stephane Sperry as executive producers.

China’s Largest Film Group chooses Mistika for its DI and Stereo 3D film projects

In order to post produce and enhance the highest quality film making, world-class facility, Hualong Film Digital Production Company Ltd, a subsidiary of China Film Group, the world’s second largest film group, has invested in SGO’s Mistika post production system and SAN. Atlantic Productions, with Sky 3D, ONSIGHT & SGO Mistika win Special Award

The RAI, Amsterdam, Holland, 13th September 2011 – SGO is delighted to reveal that the IBC2011 Special Award was presented to Atlantic Productions with Sky 3D, ONSIGHT and SGO Mistika as supporting partners at the Innovation Awards ceremony. The accolade was for remarkable Stereo 3D production and post production of Flying Monsters 3D with David Attenborough, using Mistika, at London’s ONSIGHT. Produced by Atlantic Productions for Sky 3D TV and IMAX, the project was selected as a Finalist in the Content Creation category for ONSIGHT with SGO.
