Sharp’s new professional-use QFHD LCD monitor forms an entirely new generation of displays that incorporate Sharp’s cutting-edge IGZO* technology. This technology offers two major advantages: ultra-high resolution and energy efficiency. At 3,840 x 2,160 pixels (QFHD), this 80.1cm diagonal (32”) class monitor boasts four times the resolution of 1080p full HD. Users can now view the content of four HD screens on a single, seamless display. This super-high resolution makes this monitor ideally suited to a wide range of professional applications in settings where detailed information needs to be displayed with tremendous precision.
Features:
- 80.1 cm (32″ class) diagonal screen size
- 3,840 x 2,160 resolution in pixels – QFHD
- Landscape and Portrait modes
- IGZO Technology
- Contrast 800:1
- LED, Edge-lit
- Multi-Stream Transport (MST)
- Energy Efficient
- Light and suitable for use on a desktop
The display has broad appeal across markets where highly detailed images are needed – such as CAD, illustration, graphic design and broadcast. In addition, the resolution of the display at 3,840 x 2,160, means that information that would usually require four screens to be displayed can now be shown on the PN-K321H split into four separate areas. This capability will appeal to trading and dealing rooms and financial institutions that typically have banks of screens in operation. Other markets where ultra high definition content is needed include mining and exploration and it’s anticipated that the PN-K321H will be widely deployed in this sector too.
This 4k monitor is an excellent choice for desktop use where a high resolution is required. The screen is light enough to be carried by one person and works in both landscape and portrait modes. Sharp have produced an outstanding 4k display and at a price point that will make high resolution monitoring a reality for many professionals.

About IGZO
The Sharp PN-K321H is the first professional display to be based on an innovative Indium Gallium Zinc Oxide (IGZO) panel making it the slimmest model in its class.
IGZO is a semiconducting material that has 20-50 times higher electron mobility than amorphous silicon. The thin-film transistors embedded in each pixel are much smaller thus increasing pixel transparency. With more light able to pass through each pixel, IGZO can achieve very high image resolution and high brightness with a less powerful backlight. The PN-K321H also offers a fan-less design for quiet operation, is sleek and attractive – at just 3.5cm at the deepest part – and with 140 Pixels Per Inch (double that of HD) delivers exceptionally vivid and realistic images.
